Start:
Gardner Road Car Park on the edge of Southwold Common
From the Car Park, walk across the common golf course and head
towards the water tower, from here turn left onto the road which
is in front of the water tower and head West towards the River
Blyth. After reaching the Harbour Inn, turn right along the
river. You will need to pass over a stile, then following the
path inland which winds along the banks of the river and passes
the Bailey Bridge, for approximately half a mile. You will reach
a junction, from here turn left between some reservoirs and
left again when you reach the next junction. A grassy area will
lead you beside St Felix school, leading onto the main A1095
road. Turn right until you reach a signposted path on the right.
This path will pass some houses on the left, at the end of the
path, turn right followed by a left between some reservoirs.
You will cross buss creek and at the junction, continue ahead,
bearing left. Shortly after, take the footpath towards the right.
You will cross over a track and will then need to follow the
path which is north of the water tower, heading towards some
houses. Once reaching the town, take the road towards the right
back to the car park.
