Distance: 4.2 miles / 6.7km
Start: Gardner Road Car Park on the edge of Southwold Common

From the Car Park, walk across the common golf course and head towards the water tower, from here turn left onto the road which is in front of the water tower and head West towards the River Blyth. After reaching the Harbour Inn, turn right along the river. You will need to pass over a stile, then following the path inland which winds along the banks of the river and passes the Bailey Bridge, for approximately half a mile. You will reach a junction, from here turn left between some reservoirs and left again when you reach the next junction. A grassy area will lead you beside St Felix school, leading onto the main A1095 road. Turn right until you reach a signposted path on the right. This path will pass some houses on the left, at the end of the path, turn right followed by a left between some reservoirs. You will cross buss creek and at the junction, continue ahead, bearing left. Shortly after, take the footpath towards the right. You will cross over a track and will then need to follow the path which is north of the water tower, heading towards some houses.
